Senior Consultant
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Math, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or Related Major
- Minimum of 5 Years of professional experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
|
- Technical Delivery:
- Provide senior level analysis, architecture, design, and development skills
- Familiar with all aspects of SDLC and multi-tier technology including desktop, web, and database.
- Construct full project plans for multiple resources including estimating timeframes, dependencies, multi-resource plans, and reconciliation.
- Present/ Reconcile project plans to NorthPoint Project Leaders and Client Managers
- Accountability and responsibility for personal work and deliverables
- Establish yourself as an internal NorthPoint expert in a core technical competency
- Function as Sr. technical resource and work with minimal supervision
- Guarantee the technical delivery of all work you and your team are directly involved in
- Understand multiple technologies and assimilate easily into new technologies
- Display ability to work independently at a client

- Client Management:
- Assume some client management responsibilities
- Work closely with NorthPoint Project Leaders to guarantee successful delivery of the work and growth of the account
- Provide interpersonal and people management necessary to ensure the success of your engagements
- Learn to resolve client issues and understand when to involve NorthPoint Project Leader
|
- Sales/Business Development Support:
- Understand NorthPoint’s business model for account capture and growth
- Participate in the NorthPoint sales process in as a subject matter expert or tech lead
- Understand how to present yourself from a business and technical perspective when meeting potential NorthPoint clients
- Understand how to identify, quantify, and secure work at existing or new NorthPoint customers

- People Management/Staff Development:
- Mentor NorthPoint Consultants and NorthPoint Associate Consultants
- Understand NorthPoint’s “Career Matrix”
- Heavily involved in the NorthPoint interviewing process
- Lead/Participate in staffing your engagements
- Participate in staff performance reviews and assist in developing NorthPoint PDP’s (professional development plans)
