AIM Education needed a platform for the management and digital distribution of their K-12 video content to school districts around the country as they looked to move away from traditional physical media (DVD, CD, and Tape).

The Solution

NorthPoint's developed AIM Education’s Learn360 platform around Ektron CMS400 and the NorthPoint Ektron Framework. Learn360 provides students and teaches at 12,000 different school districts to search and browse across 200,000+ media items linked to a variety of categories including their state’s required standards. Users can view media in multiple formats, create playlists and slideshows, interact with each other, add and share their own content.

Each school district within Learn360 can be configured to provide its users with a different content experience. Content and functionality can be added and restricted at any level giving administrators ultimate control over what their users can see and do. NorthPoint’s implementation of Learn360 on Ektron CMS400 allows rapid development of new features and content types as they are requested by Learn360 and its users, providing it with the competitive edge it needs in its business.
